Ivo Iliev holds a PhD and a master's degree from the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. Prior to that, he received two bachelor degrees and a master's degree from the University of Tübingen, Germany.

After sunset, he regularly transforms into a literary nerd, before the light of day brings him back to the waking life of social sciences.
