AI holds significant promise for advancing the well-being of humanity. Think of addressing climate change, improving medical diagnostics & treatments, enhancing education, & improving our workplaces. However, if not carefully applied, AI could reinforce existing biases & stereotypes, erode trust, disrupt careers, and exacerbate inequality. The potential for change in our organizations & workplaces is enourmous. And it includes the way we need to think of our organizations & lead them. To fully realize this potential, the implementation of AI in our organizations should be a human-centered, sensitive, & reflective process, guided by a positive vision of AI’s role in a well-considered vision of a desirable future. Our research actively contributes to this agenda, helping shape a future where AI benefits everyone and supports a thriving, equitable society.
